Sarah Wells Professional

Sarah has worked in child welfare, community clinics, private practice, collegiate mental health and health care environments. She has extensive experience in supporting individuals and families with life transitions, mental health concerns and skill building. She incorporates cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, resilience building, trauma-informed practices, strengths based perspective taking and family systems concepts into her work the clients. Sarah also has specialization in working with Student Athletes and Healthcare Providers. ​

Sarah is an experienced Instructor and Guest Lecturer. Sarah has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses.  She has trained over 700 community members in Suicide Prevention and over 200 in Mental Health First Aid.  She also has experience developing individualized programming for community partners. 

​

Sarah has worked collaboratively with organizations, schools, hospitals, colleges, universities, businesses and communities to increase understanding and awareness around mental health topics and identify strategies to support mental wellness.
