This program is specifically designed for young athletes to build the skills needed to manage the stress and pressures of athletic participation. Your brain needs training, too. The NCAA has identified stress management, identity development, and leadership skill development as key areas specific to Athlete Wellness. This evidenced-based prevention model is grounded in the understanding that managing stress, preventing burnout, and coping with adversity are key life skills learned in sports and carried over into life.

Sarah is a Certified Resilient Option Trainer. Stress Management and Resilience Training is an evidence-based program designed to build and enhance resilience skills. Developed by Dr. Amit Sood, the integration of five daily core practices to reduce stress and build resilience is rooted in neuroscience. This program can be delivered in 2-4 hours and provides participants with a 6-week plan for implementation. This presentation can be designed to support Employee Wellness for healthcare systems, schools, and businesses.

Utilize Mindfulness-based concepts to bring attention to our daily living and decision-making. Learn key skills and strategies to manage stress through focused attention and decision-making.

Explore the concept of mindfulness and different mindfulness practices that you can integrate into your daily living to reduce stress.

Strategies to begin to incorporate mindfulness into your parenting and daily interactions with your child. Mindfulness can be a key skill for emotional regulation which leads to academic success.

Grounded in evidence-based practices, this program can be tailored to address unique stresses in your organization. Stresses are a part of life, and understanding how to identify stress and manage stresses in daily living can help us sustain mental wellness across time.

Based on the work of Kristen Neff, we begin to understand how our own negative emotional experiences and messaging about those experiences can create increased emotional distress. By practicing and engaging in self-compassion, we recognize our strengths and abilities to support ourselves in times of distress.

Question Persuade Refer is an evidence-based suicide prevention model that teaches participants to recognize warning signs for suicide, support someone considering suicide, and refer to resources. This training is 1.5 hours. This training may meet the requirements for some professional continuing education hours.

This evidence-based training teaches community members to recognize and support those struggling with signs and symptoms of a mental health disorder. This training takes approximately 8 hours to complete and is designed for adults supporting adults. This may meet requirements for some professional continuing education hours, and certification is valid for three years. 

10.

Grounded in attachment theories, this model supports caregivers in identifying and reflecting on children's attachments needs in order to promote secure attachment.  Secure attachment is a foundation for emotional regulation, inter-personal relationships,  childhood development, and learning.
